'Glamping'

This travel trend that’s got us all talking originated from Africa and was soon made popular in the UK by the likes of Kate Moss and Sienna Miller, as we catch glimpses of them wading through the mud at music festivals back to their mobile homes in their designer wellies.

Decades ago, safari holidays were made more comfortable for guests with large canvas tents adorned with king size beds, elegant beddings, carpets and antique furniture. Holiday makers could relax and enjoy the views whilst chefs prepared decadent meals.

Glamping gives holiday makers the chance to enjoy all the exposure of the great outdoors of a traditional camping trip but with fantastic amenities that make the experience that little bit more pleasurable; tents may be linked to electrical sources, camping mats are replaced with air beds or even sprung mattresses.

These are just a few options for that glamorous camping trip
