Here we countdown a list of top 10 weird activities found around the world ranging from cream fights to cockroach races!

A quintessentially eccentric British festival run by the residents of Falmstead village, where they each make a scarecrow in their front gardens. About 4,000 visitors wander around the small Hertfordshire village, and then vote for their favourites!

Approximately 100 creations on view range from characters from TV shows, pop musicians and effigies through to the downright bizarre, and money raised goes to charity

9. Eeyore's Birthday - Austin, Texas

In Austin, adults and kids alike have celebrated the birthday of Winnie the Pooh's fictional friend for more than 40 years. The celebration is held in Pease Park, admission is free and the money raised from the sale of food, drinks, face-painting, etc. is donated to local non-profits.

8. Cafe Gratitude - San Francisco, California

Order a plate of "we are bountiful" (aka crackers and spreads) at the San Francisco eatery that aims to fill your being as much as your stomach.

The food names all have fake "affirmations" so, for example, when you order something like their large salad you have to say, "I'd like the I am abundant" The staff ask you between courses things like, "And what are you grateful for today?" You have to answer, depending on the rigidity of the server, before you can get your food.

7. Cabbages and Condoms Restaurant - Bangkok, Thailand

Though this restaurant's name raises eyebrows, it's all for a good cause. This very popular place raises funds for the Population & Community Development Association, the country's family-planning program. The complex is a restaurant, bar, Internet cafe, massage shop, and gift shop all rolled into one, where diners get a condom with coffee, instead of an after-dinner mint!

6. The Great Whipped Cream Battle - Olomouc, Czech Republic

This is just one of the highlights of Olomouc's week-long city festival in mid-June, which sees volunteers divided into opposing teams and asked to arm themselves with trays of cream. There's a countdown and then the teams rush towards each other!

5. Cockroach Races - Brisbane, Australia

Each Australia Day, Brisbane's Story Bridge Hotel encourages visitors to "BYO Roach" for its creepy-crawly cockroach races. Rules are carefully followed on this day of high drama – there are 14 races with a minimum of 20 "cockys" in each. Thousands attend to watch the races, discuss form and tactics and urge their support for their favourites!

4. The Sauna World Championships, Finland

The steamy annual event sees competitors brave searing temperatures in a bid to claim the world title. Contestants take their place in the sauna, in a specified position and must not distract or interact with their rivals. Half a litre of water is thrown on the sauna’s coals every 30 seconds and the temperature routinely rises to 110 degrees Celsius (230 degrees Fahrenheit). The last person remaining in the sauna is declared the winner! However, after the death of one finalist during the 2010 championship, it is still undecided whether or not future championships will be held.

Best suited for someone with a strong stomach. You can gain entry into the exclusive society ‘Sourtoe’ Cocktail Club by sipping a drink containing one of the hotel's preserved human toes! Make it a big sip; rules say your lips must touch the salted toe!

Find good food for less than $10 at this Taipei eatery - provided you don't mind eating out of a (replica) toilet bowl! You are seated at your table (a bathtub) surrounded by toilets for your seats and your food comes in your own sizzling toilet bowl!
