    One of the most famous geothermal spas in Iceland is the Blue Lagoon. Located just 47 km from the capital city, it is the perfect place to visit for a day of relaxation and pampering. Among the treatments that those on Iceland spa holidays can look forward to are massages in the lagoon, pedicures and a salt glow body treatment. While you are enjoying your treatments, you can soak up the unique atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

    Blue LagoonLocated just a short drive outside of Reykjavik, the Blue Lagoon is easily accessible to travellers. The Blue Lagoon is filled with geothermal seawater, which stays at a temperature of between 37 and 39 degrees C. Every 40 hours, the six million litres of water in the lagoon are refreshed and it is known for its healing powers. If you don't want to leave the warmth of the lagoon then you could opt for one of the in-water treatments, allowing you to soak up the natural beauty of your surroundings while you relax.
